7-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Aberdares

• Depart Nairobi for the Aberdares (approx. 3 hrs).

• Afternoon forest game drive in Aberdare National Park: elephants, bushbuck, giant forest hogs.

• Evening at The Ark or Treetops Lodge, viewing wildlife at a floodlit waterhole.

Day 2: Aberdares – Samburu National Reserve

• Morning drive north to Samburu (approx. 4–5 hrs).

• Afternoon game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River: elephants, lions, leopards.

• Dinner & overnight at Samburu lodge/camp.

Day 3: Samburu Full Day + Village Visit

• Morning & afternoon game drives in search of the Samburu Special Five (Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, Reticulated giraffe, and Gerenuk).

• Afternoon visit to a Samburu village for cultural interaction.

• Dinner & overnight in Samburu.

Day 4: Samburu – Mount Kenya (Nanyuki)

• Morning game drive, then drive to Mount Kenya region.

• Afternoon nature walk or lodge relaxation with views of Mount Kenya.

• Overnight at a Mount Kenya lodge (Fairmont Safari Club optional).

Day 5: Mount Kenya – Ol Pejeta Conservancy

• Short transfer to Ol Pejeta.

• Morning game drive: elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes.

• Afternoon visit to chimpanzee sanctuary & northern white rhinos.

• Dinner & overnight at Ol Pejeta camp/lodge.

Day 6: Ol Pejeta Full Day

• Full-day game drives with packed lunch in Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

• Search for rhinos, cheetahs, and endangered species in private conservancy zones.

• Dinner & overnight at lodge/camp.

Day 7: Ol Pejeta – Nairobi

• Morning game drive.

• Breakfast, then return to Nairobi by road or flight.

Optional Day 8: Add extra night at Ol Pejeta or Nairobi city tour.
